Introduction to Gouache Teen Workshop

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Join us at Princeton Art Studios for our introduction to gouache teen workshop. This two session course is perfect for teens ages 14-18 and is focused on skills such as color mixing and gaining a deeper understanding of the material of gouache itself. Gouache is a water-based medium that acts as a blend of acrylic and watercolor. It mimics the flexibility and flow of watercolor but has an opaque finish, similar to acrylic. Students will be guided through the basics of gouache by an experienced instructor and leave with a completed piece and a greater understanding of the gouache medium.
